Great news for foreign property owners in Spain!
The Spanish Supreme Court has ruled that non-residents with assets in Spain are now entitled to the same tax reductions as residents.
Thanks to the fiscal shield, the combined burden of income tax and wealth tax may never exceed 60% of taxable income.
If it does, the wealth tax must be reduced — up to 80%.
This can mean a significant financial benefit for non-residents who own property or assets in Spain.
