Ojén

Ojén is a beautiful white village on the Costa del Sol, spectacularly situated on the slopes of the Sierra Blanca just a few kilometers from the coast. 

The history of the village dates back to Moorish times, with the name derived from the Arabic word "Hoxen" meaning "place of wealth" or "bitter". The climate is Mediterranean and refreshing, with the elevated position providing slightly cooler summers and very pure air that forms a welcome contrast to the heat of the nearby beaches.

For golfers, the village is an excellent base, as the prestigious courses of Marbella and the exclusive club of El Soto Golf are located a very short drive away.
